SPI Lands $2.7 Million Raytheon Contract for Group Sensor Integrator and Future Combat System Program Providing Software Engineering Services for the Sensor Suite Control Program

DALLAS – JANUARY 24, 2006 --- SPI, a leading global provider of information technology services announced today that it has been awarded a $2.7 million software engineering services contract from Raytheon Network Centric Systems, based in Plano, Texas. SPI will provide services for Raytheon’s Ground Sensor Integrator (GSI) and Sensor Suite Control project, which is a part of the Ground Sensor Integrator’s responsibility under the U.S. Army Future Combat System (FCS) program.

The project SPI will support provides sensors and related solutions for manned and unmanned group platforms that make up the FCS program. These groups develop sensor architecture, refine sensor applications, and manage the acquisition, development, and integration of data generated by ground sensors. It is vital that suppliers working on FCS development be the “best in industry” as the development and fielding of FCS to upgrade the US Army’s capabilities, reflects an important national priority.
