Ms. Batra is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SPI. Inc. She has more than 25 years of experience in technology and services solutions development and delivery. Industries served include retail, transportation, healthcare, U.S. military and U.S. federal government.

Ms. Batra began her career selling first-generation personal computerS at Mississippi Micros, while attending Jackson State University. Upon graduation, she joined IBM where she held a wide range of management positions as well as technical positions including MVS systems programmer, systems engineer and sales executive.

In 1992, after ten years with IBM, Ms. Batra founded Software Professionals Inc. (later changed to SPI) in Dallas, Texas, a provider of outsourced software development and database management services. Ms. Batra has successfully led the growth of SPI into a $13 million dollar information technology services, employing 300 people with a client list of top Fortune 500 companies that include Texas Instruments, JCPenney, BNSF Railway, U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Defense.

Under her leadership, SPI has won a number of prestigious regional and national growth awards including the Inc. 500 TM, Dallas 100 list of Fastest Growing Companies in Dallas/ Fort Worth and Dallas Business Journal’s, Annual List of the Top 20 Fastest Growing Companies. Ms. Batra holds two Masters degrees, one in Genetics from Punjab Agricultural University in India, the second in Computer Science from Jackson State University, Mississippi. She is also active in a number of business, civic and community organizations.
