SPI, a leading woman-owned global provider of information technology services announced today that founder and CEO Reena Batra will be a featured speaker at the IndUS Business Journal 2006 “India Investment – Summit and Awards” banquet to be held April 27th at the Boston Newton Marriott.
The event will bring together the nation's senior business executives and leaders who are conducting and exploring business, trade and investment opportunities in India. The India Summit will provide insights and perspective on the current state of opportunities and challenges in India's growing market sectors including financial services, venture capital, franchise, biotech, pharmaceutical, hospitality, technology, outsourcing, exports and imports, and services industries. The Summit will provide an opportunity for attendees to exchange ideas and network with top entrepreneurs, business leaders and thinkers.

Ms. Batra leads the largest Indo-American-woman-owned technology firm in the State of Texas. It is one of the few U.S. based technology firms of its size with a comprehensive, company-owned, offshore development facility in New Delhi, India.
She is recognized as one of the top women leaders in the technology field throughout Texas and an avid speaker on a wide range of business and technology topics. Batra will be part of a panel discussion on India’s growing technology sectors: biotechnology, pharmaceutical, high technology and outsourcing.
